DAY 1: KAMPALA-LAKE BUNYONYI AND CTC ONSERVATION CENTRE
Bold wilderness tours and safaris drive guide will pick you from the Airport or at your hotel for a transfer to Lake Bunyonyi-the second deepest lake in Africa with amazing spot and nice scenery we have a lot of activities to do. You will have a stopover at CTC Conservation center outside Mpigi. Established in 2025, the wildlife sanctuary conserves various species of animals, paying a significant role in establishing wildlife population affected by past conflicts, poaching and habitat encroachment. Get a chance to get up close with tamed lions, antelopes among other wild animals in the sanctuary. Later drive to bunyonyi Eco resort for dinner and overnight.
DAY 2: LAKE BUNYONYI TO BWINDI FOREST
Take a mouthwatering breakfast then later proceed for a full day of different activities like swimming, island hopping canoeing or sunbathing. After lunch check out at Bunyonyi Eco resort and proceed to Rushaga region in Bwindi national park home for the incredible mountain gorillas Check in at the lodge for dinner and overnight.
DAY 3: GORILLA FULL DAY EXPERIENCE
After breakfast, proceed to park headquarters with bold wilderness for briefing on rules and regulations of gorilla trekking in Bwindi. During the briefing the allocation of gorilla family for each 8 members to trek is allocated, at this time if you have special needs (not able to walk for a long distance) communicate during the briefing so that you can be allocated a close family. You are also given the do’s and don’ts during the gorilla trekking. After the briefing you receive a trekking stick and start your gorilla trekking at the Bwindi forest to have one of the memorable experiences. Gorilla trekking usually lasts for about 5 – 6 hours depending on the location of the gorillas at that specific time. You are only allowed one hour in their midst to take pictures, observe them feed as you interact and play. After the gorilla encounter, trek to a safe place and enjoy your picnic lunch or take lunch later at the lodge or camp. Later proceed to the park headquarters to receive your congratulatory certificate and head back to the lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.
DAY 4: TRANSFER BACK TO KAMPALA
After breakfast proceed to Kampla city with lunch enroute at Mbarara. Later you will be dropped at the Airport or your hotel.
